The Golden Acorn News for the first quarter of 2026 has been published and is accessible in the Members Area.

This issue is dedicated to our 87th Division veterans who died over the last 15 years, but we were unaware of their passing. Our apologies go out to the families for not properly honoring their loved ones previously.

This issue continues a series of articles on 87th veterans who were prisoners of war covering the ordeal of Cpl. Mahlon Krum (B-346), who was captured at Jenneville, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge on January 3, 1945.
