It is with deep love and gratitude for a life richly lived that we announce the passing of Michael Francis Maguire (F-346), who died peacefully on May 9, 2026, at the age of 99.
Mike’s life journey spanned nearly a century and two continents—a life defined by the parallel tracks of family, faith, and service. From his Irish roots, he carried forward enduring values of hard work, humility, and devotion that shaped both his character and his legacy.

George Ernest Phillips (G-347), 100, died peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Sharon Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Sharon, CT. From 1955 to 1972, Mr. Phillips owned and operated the Edgewood Restaurant in Amenia, NY, with his wife Anne, he was also a real estate broker for many years as well.
Born September 13, 1925 in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late Royal and Elizabeth (Piltz) Phillips. He was a graduate of Amenia High School and attended Cornell University. Mr. [more...]
